Our Trip to Burlington, VT

The top priority for this trip to Burlington, VT is a visit with Connor. After that I guess it would be brewery visits. πŸ˜„πŸΊ When asked if there was anything else I wanted to do while we were visiting, I suggested a hike, but with temps in the 20s, the noticeable absence of sunshine, and cold winds coming off Lake Champlain, that idea was quickly shelved for another time. πŸ₯ΆπŸ˜†

On the way up, we stopped at Tree House to pick up orders for John, Connor, our older son, Ian, and Connor’s good friend, Ryan, who also passes as our third son. I guess you could say that a love of craft beer runs in our family, at least those carrying a Y chromosome. πŸ˜‚

A trip to Burlington is always fun… it brings back a lot of great memories… Alyssa started at St. Mikes and Connor graduated from UVM… and the Church Street Market is always great to walk through. Lots of great shops and eateries!

We ate *very* well while we were with Connor! Nepalese, Tibetan, Italian, Indian, Vietnamese, diner fare, and a whole new take on breakfast sandwiches! And that’s really just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to eating in Burlington! When we weren’t eating or sampling beer, we saw that the UVM men’s basketball team win another game. 😊

What are some of your favorite things to do in Burlington, VT? Looking forward to our next visit which will no doubt include a lot more eating, more beer sampling, and hopefully the aforementioned hike in more favorable weather. 😊 Until next time, Burlington…

Goodbye Burlington, VT
