Today is the International Day of Happiness

I am a happy person. I think a lot about happiness. I try to ensure it both for myself, and for others. The hardest thing for me to remember is that while you may wish happiness for others and do everything within your power to make it available to them it is only *that* person who can reach out (or inward) and decide to be happy for themselves.

Other words for happiness include:

  • bliss
  • contentment
  • gratitude
  • joy
  • peace
  • satisfaction
  • well-being

In celebrating the day celebrating happiness, I thought sharing some photos that mean happiness to me might be fun, but as I began to look over my photo roll, I realized that *all* of them represent happiness to me… that’s why they’re there. ๐Ÿฅฐ

The one overarching thing that means happiness to me is family. Everything else stems from it.

  • You fall in love and marry your best friend
Happiness is John & Kendra

  • You raise a family
Happiness is Kids

  • They raise families of their own
Happiness is Grandkids

  • If you’re lucky, you get to experience it all
Happiness is Family

That’s my definition of happiness. I hope you are lucky enough to find and experience your own. ๐Ÿ’œ
